Kada is a habit tracker that runs entirely on your device. There is no account, no cloud sync, no ads and no tracking: your habits, history and notes never leave your phone.
What Kada stores
The habits you create, your completion history and your preferences (language, theme) are saved in a local database on your device. This data is never transmitted anywhere. We have no servers and no way to access it.
What Kada does not do
- No analytics or telemetry. Your habit data is never sent over the network.
- No advertising and no tracking SDKs.
- No access to your location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera.
- No advertising identifiers, profiles or fingerprinting. Kada works fully offline, airplane mode included; only the optional tips and app updates use the internet.
Services the app connects to
Kada connects to two services. Neither of them ever receives your habits:
- RevenueCat (optional tips). When the app opens, it registers an anonymous, random ID with RevenueCat so tips can work. If you leave a tip, RevenueCat receives the purchase details from Apple or Google (product, price, date) and basic device information (system version, app version, country). This is not linked to your name or email and is not used for tracking or advertising. The payment itself is handled by Apple or Google. Details: revenuecat.com/privacy.
- Expo (app updates). When the app opens, it asks Expo's servers whether a newer version of its code is available, sending only technical details such as platform, app version and the current update ID. As with any internet request, these servers see your IP address. Details: expo.dev/privacy.
This website
This website (kada.day) uses DataFast in its cookieless mode to count visits and see where visitors come from. It sets no cookies and does not identify you. It has nothing to do with the app, which never sends your habits anywhere.
Backups
iOS may include Kada's data in your normal device backup (iCloud or your computer). Those backups are managed and encrypted by Apple and controlled by your device settings — we have no access to them.
Deleting your data
In the app, go to Profile → Settings → "Erase all data", or simply delete the app. Your habit data never leaves your device, so no copy exists anywhere else. Tip purchase records stay with Apple or Google and with RevenueCat under the anonymous ID; to have the RevenueCat record removed, email us.
Children
Kada does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If Kada ever changes how it handles data, this page will be updated before that change ships, with a new "last updated" date.
